My goal is to teach children to compensate for their learning discrepancies, to become independent learners and to become productive, creative members of our society.
A calm, caring atmosphere contributes to the students’ ability to focus on a task. Techniques are taught based upon a psychoneurologic approach. The first change observed is the student’s sense of relief that someone understands how they learn best. As skill levels are mastered and independently used, self esteem rises. Generalizing these skills to be used academically and to make challenging life steps in stride is critical.
